3. The Trustees of the Fund shall be the Resident who shall be cæ officio a Trustee and four persons from time to time. to be appointed by him and such Trustees shall be a Corporation in order to carry out the objects of the Fund and shall have the name of the Trustees of the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund" and by that name shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and the said Corporation is hereby empowered for the purposes of the said Fund to site and be sued to make contracts and to acquire purchase take hold and enjoy movable and immovable property of every description and to sell transfer assign surrender charge lease or other- wise dispose of any movable or immovable property vested in the Corporation upon such terms as to the Corporation may seem fit and to collect and receive further subscriptions and donations interest and dividends for the benefit of the Fund.
4. The Resident shall be ex officio Chairman of the Corpo- ration and shall have the custody of the seal of the Corporation.
5. The general objects of the Fund are the relief of destitu- tion and distress in the State of Selangor by the provision and maintenance of a home for the poor and aged Chinese in the State of Selangor and the relief of necessitous persons in the State.
6. All deeds documents or other instruments which are by law required to be scaled shall be sealed with the seal of the Corporation in the presence of the Chairman of the Corporation or some Trustee appointed in writing by the Chairman and one other Trustee and shall also be signed by each of them and such siguing shall be taken as sufficient evidence of the due sealing of such deeds documents or other instruments.
7. (i) The Trustees shall appoint such number of Secretaries Treasurers Auditors and other officers as they may think desir- able for the management of the Fund and may for that purpose appoint Committees and Sub-committees and may at their absolute discretion at any time remove from his appointment any officer or member of the Committee or Sub-committee so appointed.
(ii) The Trustees may make rules for the duties and the pro- cedure of the Committees and Sub-committees and regulating the meetings of the Trustees.
8. All property movable and immovable held by or under the control of the persons acting as Trustees in accordance with the agreement mentioned in the preamble immediately before the passing of this Enactment for the purposes of the Fund shall be and the same are hereby vested in the Corporation upon trust for the purposes of the Fund.
9. (i) Not more than one-half of the Fund shall be used for providing a home for the poor and aged Chinese of the State of Selangor and the balance shall be utilised whether as capital or revenue for such charitable purposes in the said State as the Trustees may from time to time think desirable.

(ii) The Trustees may expend out of moneys belonging to the Fund such amount for salaries rent or other expenses as it is in the opinion of the Trustees essential so to expend for the proper administration of the Fund.

10. All moneys received from subscribers and all other Money to be moneys belonging to or collected or received by the Corporation shall be deposited in the name of the Corporation in such bank
as the Trustees may from time to time appoint.
11. (i) All cheques drawn upon the bank account of the Signing of Corporation shall be signed by one Trustee and shall be counter- cheques. signed by the Treasurers.
(ii) The bank may pay all cheques drawn against the said account which are so signed and countersigned.
12. Moneys belonging to the Fund may be invested by the Investment. Corporation in any security in which trustees are authorised by law to invest trust funds. All investments shall be made.

13. The Treasurers shall keep the accounts of the Fund Accounts to which shall be audited at regular intervals by the Auditor or audited.

14. (i) The Treasurers shall at such time as the Trustees shall in each year direct submit to the Trustees a statement of accounts which statement shall have been audited as pres- cribed in section 13 and shall as soon as practicable after it has been submitted to the Trustees be published in the Gazette. (ii) The Treasurers shall also furnish to the Trustees all such information as the Trustees may from time to time require.
15. Meetings of the Trustees shall be held at any place and Meetings of time that the Resident may think fit. Two Trustees shall form
a quorum. In the event of an equality of votes the Chairman at the Meeting shall have a second or casting vote.
